About Fab Lab Miami
Since its launch in September 2020, Fab Lab Miami has served as an educational hub in Miami, offering vibrant programs focused on digital fabrication and a range of STEAM activities. The lab has played a crucial role in fostering the development of young minds, encouraging exploration, creativity, learning, mentorship, and innovation.
In 2024, Fab Lab Miami proudly inaugurated its second location, extending its reach further south to Homestead, thanks to the generous backing of the STEM Funders’ Collaborative. This expansion marks a new phase in the lab’s mission to make STEAM education accessible to underserved communities in Miami-Dade County.
Mission: To inspire and nurture the pursuit of coursework and careers in STEAM through a maker-driven, hands-on experience with digital fabrication and STEAM activities.
Vision: Youth from Miami’s urban core have access to opportunities in and are prepared for careers STEAM–related fields.
