Through KBCF’s Sister City Initiative, Fab Lab Liberty City was launched on June 29 and represents our first local Fab Lab in Miami-Dade County. Through the Sister City Initiative between Key Biscayne and Liberty City, Key Biscayne is invested in the success of Liberty City residents and has deepened its commitment and impact by launching this digital fabrication space in Liberty City for children and youth to play, create, learn, mentor and invent.

Fab Lab Liberty City will be launching at Optimist Club’s summer program at Hadley Park in Liberty City. 15 middle and high school students will gain hands-on experience with digital fabrication tools in the Fab Lab daily for 4 weeks.
